Terry Eugene Ramsey, 65, of Swannanoa passed away December 19, 2012 at his home.
Terry was born December 5, 1947 in Buncombe County. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Terry was a graduate of Western Carolina University. He taught for numerous years in the Georgia School system.
He is preceded in death by his father, RP Ramsey.
Terry is survived by his mother, Jean Ramsey of Black Mountain.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to a charity of one's choice.
