Peter left Haycock Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and moved to New Jersey. An early land sale from 1810, lists Peter Amey and his wife living in Greenwich Township, Sussex(Now Warren County), NJ. Peter ended up purchasing what was known as the Home Farm, which my grandfather,William Amey, Peter's great grandson, last farmed before retiring and selling the homestead.

He also bequeathed David, all his horses, cattle, shop and hogs excepting two cows to his wife, Sarah. David inherited all his farming utensils necessary for farming purposes.
