Samira Seraphina Brown was the daughter of Foster Brown and his first wife Seraphina C. (Wheeler) Brown. She was only six when her mother died and just past seven when her father remarried. Her first child was a daughter named Aurianna Louis Brown according to Prescott, Massachusetts, birth records. Samira married William Brooks about 1874 and they had a son, Horace. She was about 59 years old when she died in Westfield, Massachusetts. She was buried in Easthampton, Massachusetts, with her husband's family. I wondered whether she even knew that she was a ninth generation descendant of 1620 Mayflower passenger William White.
