VERMELL D. HARVEY
Vermeil D. Harvey, 88, of Mendenhall died April 4 of heart failure at Simpson General Hospital. A native of Simpson County, she was a mother, housewife, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held April 5 at Macedonia Baptist Church in with burial in the Mendenhall City Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Joe Harvey of Mendenhall and James Earl Harvey of Clinton; four daughters, Frances Shows and Geraldine Lyons both of Mendenhall, Doris Williams of Magee and Betty H. Barr of Vicksburg; one brother, Fred (sic Ford) Dickerson of Cleveland; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
