James Earl Harvey, 86, of Clinton, formerly of Mendenhall, passed away February 22, 2013.
He was born to the late Forest Monroe and Vermell Dickerson Harvey on October 30, 1926.
James Earl is survived by wife, Polly Barr Harvey of Clinton; sons, James Rickie Harvey of Tickfaw LA, Rodney Guy Harvey of McKinney TX, Randy Keith Harvey of Union, MS; daughter, Roxann Lantrip of Brandon, MS; six grandchildren; one great grandchild and siblings; Tommy Joe Harvey, Mendenhall, MS, Doris Williams, Mendenhall, MS and Betty Barr of Vicksburg, MS.
Visitation will be held , Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton from 1:00 p.m. until funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Dr. Greg Belser, Dr. Charles Schreiber and Rev. Robin Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow at Mendenhall City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home Mendenhall, MS.
