Here and There in Cumberland County.
On Saturday a week, Samuel Wert, living near Sterretts Gap, on the Cumberland side, committed suicide by hanging himself. This is his third attempt at suicide, once having shot himself but was not badly hurt, and once tried to drown himself. When he tried hanging he was more successful.
