Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Katrina Sczepaniak and was the owner of the former Russian Bear Restaurant in the Greeneville section of Norwich. She is survived by her son, Bud Avdevich, and wife Susan, of Franklin; she was pre-deceased by her daughter, Morene Przygoda. A private service will be held today in Franklin. The Woyasz & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
