TURKEY - Funeral services for Ann Coker, 76, of Turkey will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at First United Methodist Church in Turkey. Officiating will be Rev. Glenda Johnson and Rev. Steve Ulrey. Interment will be in Dreamland Cemetery at Turkey under direction of Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mrs. Coker died Wednesday at a Floydada nursing home. She was born Ann Bogan on Aug. 15, 1928, in Amarillo. She married U.F. Coker on May 17, 1947, in Dumas. She had been a resident of Turkey since 1950. She taught school for 34 years in Memphis, Turkey, and Valley school systems. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Turkey. Survivors include her husband; a son, Kim Coker of Monroe, La.; two daughters, Linda Hamilton of Ruidoso, N.M., and Brenda Coker of Sabinal, Texas; and three grandchildren.
