Sagie Elizabeth Trammel, age 89, of Villa Grove died at 9:22 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at her daughter's home in Villa Grove.
She was born July 9, 1920 to Thomas and Cynthia Boyd Hughes. She married Aubrey Earl Trammel in August 1937. He died in 1987.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Trammel of Adairville, Ky. and Aubrey Earl Trammel Jr. of Urbana; four daughters, Jane Trammel of Tuscola, Shirley Cosby of Urbana, Vicki (Larry) Mitchaner of Villa Grove and Gala (Tom) Schuett of Villa Grove; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Avery and Patti Miller.
