Aubrey Earl Trammel was born in Allen County, Kentucky on July 1, 1941 to Aubrey E. Trammel and Sagie E. Hughes. He passed away Saturday (Nov. 3, 2018) in Urbana at home surrounded by his three daughters.

Aubrey was one of eight children; he was the second son and had an older brother and six sisters. He had three beautiful daughters by his first marriage, Tamara Brown (Ed), Carrie Byrne (Bob), Sabra Greger and a stepdaughter, Diana Greger. He also has a fourth lovely daughter, Tiffany Trammel, by a later marriage. He has seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of who were very special to him.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his father; mother; two sisters, Linda and Patti; and older brother, Richard.

Aubrey was a Marine Corps veteran. He worked in construction for many years but ended his career working for Fed Ex for 24 years and retired from there. He was an avid fisherman, loved to dance, loved antique cars and was always a motorcycle enthusiast. He was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders until his stroke, when he had to quit riding his beloved bike.

He never met a stranger and was loved by many. He had a big heart, was a jokester and LOVED food! The Apple Dumpling lost one of its best customers.
