Stan Dunnerstick

Stan G. Dunnerstick, age 53, of Louisville, passed away early Wednesday morning after an apparent heart attack. A life

resident of the Canton and Louisville areas, Stan was a 1965 graduate of Canton McKinley High School where he played varsity baseball and football. He also had attended Bowling Green and Youngstown State Universities. Stan was employed as Charter Manager with Davis Tours for 25 years. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he was the Vice-President of the Greater Canton Slo-Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. Stan played and coached slo-pitch softball from 1971 to 1995, helping teams to win several titles. He was involved in Cub Scouts, Pack #15, and coached Y.M.C.A. Eagles Flag Football. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Davis) Dunnerstick to whom he was devoted for 20 years; daughter, Stacy and son, Ryan of the home, whom he loved very much; mother, Mary Dunnerstick of Canton; father and stepmother, Ralph and Vi Dunnerstick of Jackson Twp.; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Lauren Dunnerstick of Louisville. Friends may call on Friday 6-9 p.m. in the ROSSI FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be sung on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Kenneth E. Miller as celebrant. Interment will be in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in Stan's name can be made to St. Louis School, 218 N. Chapel St., Louisville, OH 44641.
