John Paul Deutsch passed away in Mt. Pleasant on March 27, 2010.

Mr. Deutsch was a former police officer in Columbus, IN and a graduate of the Indiana Police Academy. He had most recently worked in security for a private agency. Mr. Deutsch had attended the University of Southern Indiana and was a graduate of North High School in Evansville.

His mother, Joyce Ann Harsch, and his stepfather, Paul Arthur Harsch, III, of Williamstown, MA survive him. Two grandmothers, Betty Smith of Powderly, KY and Bernice Deutsch of Atlanta, GA, survive him. He also leaves behind his life's soul mate, Erin Langendorfer of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his aunt and uncle, Sandra and Steven Howell of Evansville; his aunt and uncle, Connie and Steven Hara of Atlanta, GA; his aunt and uncle, Darlene and Dan Havener of Newburgh; his aunt and uncle, Pam and Mike Titzer of Griffin, IN; his aunt, Loretta Hall; his aunt and uncle, Janis and Bernard Smith, II of Madisonville, KY; and many friends and other devoted family members too numerous to mention.

His father, Donald Carl Deutsch, preceded John in death in 2005 from complications of diabetes.
