Born Oct. 27, 1874, in Wapello County, son of Volney and Elizabeth WILSON ORNDUFF. He has farmed all his life in the Batavia community until his retirement in 1946. He had lived in Batavia since. A member of the Batavia Methodist Church; married Cora McNIEL on May 7, 1902; she died 1943.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth, Ainsworth, Iowa; Wayne, Batavia; and Leonard, Fairfield. Twelve grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one brother, Guy ORNDUFF, Wichita, Kansas; and three sisters, Mrs. Anna PRUNTY and Mrs. Nellie WITTE, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Effie NORRIS, Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter, one son, three brothers and two sisters.
