Mrs. Mary Harmon Buried at Macedonia

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Harmon, a lifelong Chickasaw County resident, who died at the Houston Hospital at 12:15 am, Sunday, Dec. 5, were conducted from the Macedonia Methodist Church at 2 pm, Monday with the Rev. W F Clark and the Rev. Jimmy Gore officiating. She was 74.

Interment was in the Macedonia Cemetery with Houston Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Harmon leaves three sons, Sidney, Frank and Edgar Harmon, all of Houston; two daughters, Melia Griffin and Mrs. Worth Huffman of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Doss, Mrs. Columbus Griffin and Mrs. Minnie Doss of Houston; three brothers, John Edd and Lundy Gann, all of Houston. Twenty-two grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.

She was born Aug. 13 1891, the daughter of William Nelson Gann and Mary Elizabeth Mixon Gann. She was a member of the Macedonia Methodist Church.
