GREENWOOD -- Teresa Zocher, 89, of Greenwood, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Greenwood. Visitation will be at the church Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Teresa Marie Lewis was born on Nov. 28, 1919, in Laurel, Neb., the daughter of Richard and Pearl E. (Jones) Lewis. She was united in marriage to Theodore Krei on Dec. 20, 1938, in Wayne, Neb. They farmed in Nebraska until moving to Greenwood in 1957. They bought a farm northwest of Greenwood and farmed there until her husband's death in September 1974.
Teresa was united in marriage to Kurt Zocher on Oct. 5, 1985, at Immanuel United Church of Christ. He died March 5, 1997. Teresa continued to live in her home until October 2007.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet (Jim) Petkovsek of Greenwood; a son, Harold "Bud" (Mary) Krei of Fall Creek; one stepson: Ron (Mary Lou) Zocher of Branford, Conn.; two stepdaughters, Margot (Chuck) Long of Syracuse, N.Y., and Diane (Richard) Wirth of Rochester, Wash.; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren and stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Koeller of Cerritos, Calif.

Teresa Marie Lewis was born on Nov. 28, 1919, in Laurel, Neb., to Richard and Pearl E. (nee Jones) Lewis. She was raised and received her education in the Laurel, Decatur areas. She married Theodore Krei on Dec. 20, 1938, in Wayne, Neb. They farmed and raised their children in Nebraska until moving to Greenwood in 1957. They bought a farm northwest of Greenwood and farmed there until her husband's death on Sept. 18, 1974. She moved into a house southwest of their farm, that she and her husband were building at the time of his death. She then went to work at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, where she worked for several years. She married Kurt Zocher on Oct. 5, 1985, at Immanuel United Lutheran Church of Christ. He died on March 5, 1997. She continued to live in her home until October 2007.
She was a member of Immanuel United Lutheran Church of Christ, where she had been a very active member. She was a member of the Clark County Homemakers Jolly Homemakers Club for many years. She had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her family, flowers, gardening, baking, cooking, and she spent a lot of her time doing volunteer work.
She will be dearly missed by one daughter. Janet (Jim) Petkovsek, Greenwood; one son, Harold "Bud" (Mary) Krei, Fall Creek; one stepson, Ron (Mary Lou) Zocher, Branford, Conn.; two stepdaughters, Margot (Chuck) Long, Syracuse, N.Y., and Diane (Richard) Wirth, Rochester, Wash.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and Step-great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Koeller, Cerritos, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death by her parents, her husbands, Ted Krei and Kurt Zocher; one son, Theodore W. Krei, on Sept. 18, 2005; five brothers, Bill Lewis, John Lewis, Harold "Chub" Lewis, George "Tony" Lewis ND ROBERT :Tom" Lewis and four sisters, Alice Rasmussen, Gertrude Lewis (at birth), Dorothy Miller and Leona Guill.
