Mrs. Allen Parsons, aged 73 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Fuller, in Polk Township, Saturday, June 21 [22], 1895. Funeral services were conducted on Monday morning at 9 o'clock a. m., Rev. M. C. Waddell, of this city, officiating. The remains were brought to Bedford and interred in the Fairview cemetery. The deceased was a native of Virginia but in early life moved with her parents to Ohio, and afterward became a resident of Illinois and last fall came to this place since which time, up to her death, made her home with her daughter at whose home she died. Deceased was a member of the M. E. church, living an exemplary Christian life. Eight children, four boys and four girls, live to mourn the loss of a mother.
