Myron, always called Lee, was born to Myron "Vaile" and Mayme Nash Campbell southwest of Lewellen Nebraska. He graduated high school in 1949 in Haigler, Nebraska. Lee married Gloria Jean Miller on November 25, 1951 in Oshkosh Nebraska. In January 15, 1952 he was drafted into the Marine Corps and did his boot camp in San Diego. He went to wire school (communications) and was transferred to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and then Quantico, Virginia where he was discharged on 14 January, 1954. He ranched, did mechanic work, welding and machine work. He sold and built steel building on he side. He and Gloria retired in 1989 and took up traveling, hunting and fishing. He passed away at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Alliance after a battle with cancer.
Lee is survived by his children: Vernon, Starla Queen and husband Jay, Dixann Krajewski and husband Jim, and Craig Campbell, ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by Gloria, his parents, two brothers and one sister.
