Those that passed before her include three husbands; Julian Lawson, Hugo Haussler, James "Tex" Sechrist, and a step-daughter Gwendolyn Snider.

She is survived by three sisters and a brother: Verna Barnett, Buena Jennings, Loudene Johnson, and Weaver McLeroy; A daughter and two sons: Sue Buffa, Rudy Lawson, and Leslie "Buster" Lawson; Two step-daughters and two step-sons: Annette Walker, Kathleen Klatt, Greg Haussler, and Patrick Haussler, Twenty two grandchildren: Tara Durheim, Benjamin Buffa, Crystal Pellam, MeLynda Garcia, Valerie Puckett, Lona Barton, Rodney Barton, Barbara Maldonado, Nadine Maldonado, Beatrice Maldonado, Gary Maldonado, Wesley Klatt, Nathan Klatt, Jenifer Norrell, Lora Walker, Zack Walker, Pete Haussler, Andrea Griego, Analise Haussler, Ted Snider, Jeff Haussler, and Dan Haussler. Mom always put the family first and only worked briefly outside the home. She did whatever was necessary make us happy and well. She was a great cook and could make a meal out of almost nothing. She loved to sew until she could no longer use a needle and sewing machine. Later in life, she became an avid reader and was quite fond of her stuffed animal collection of cats. Of course, she could be quite stubborn and refused to live with any family members. As she put it, "I need my privacy and don't want to bother anyone". We were truly blessed to have her as long as we did.
