Bill Keyser, age 88, died on July 13, 2000 due to complications of Alzheimer's.

Bill was a lifelong sports enthusiast. His interests include skiing, sailing, fishing, pheasant and duck hunting, and supporting the University of Utah football teams. His greatest love was golf. Over the years he was a member of Fort Douglas/Hidden Valley and Oakridge Country Club. Other affiliations included in the Sentinal Club and Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Bill was a salesman. He was an insurance agent and broker, owning his own company. He managed the insurance department at Zion's Bank and later sold mutual funds for American Funds and Trust.

He is survived by his wife, Emmaruth; daughters Suzanne Moss (Arthur), Nancy Adams (Alfred Krahenbuhl); grandchildren Deborah Jenkins (Steve), David Vaughan (Stacy), Stephanie Adams, Spencer Adams, Christian J. Krahenbuhl and one great-grandchild, Spencer Vaughan; former wife, Mary Lee Davis and the Davis children. Preceded in death by Barbara Laramie (wife), Barbara High (daughter); brothers, George, James and Jack.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 261 South 900 East. The family welcomes friends at the church one half-hour prior to the service. A lunch reception will follow the service at 12:30 at the Marriott University Park Hotel, 400 South Wakara Way. Funeral Directors, Evans & Early Mortuary.

The family would like to give thanks to all the employees and religious at St. Joseph Villa, especially for the loving care given by the staff on the Special Care Unit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Joseph Villa, Special Care Unit, 451 Bishop Federal Lane, SLC, UT 84115.
