CASCADE - Private services for George D. Keyser, 71, Cascade, and San Raphael, Calif., who died Tuesday in a Cascade hospital will be conducted at a later date. Cremation will be in Mountain View Chapel, Boise, under the direction of Walker Chapel, McCall.
He was born June 8, 1907, in Salt Lake city, and graduated in 1933 from Cornell University. After serving with the Army during World War I, he operated a ranch in Star for two years. He later lived and farmed in Meridian for 12 years.
He married Jeanne Cahoon, Aug. 1, 1954, in Reno. In 1957 they moved to Boise where he was a vice president of the Bank of Idaho. He served as an agricultural representative and retired in 1972. They then moved to San Raphael, and spent their summers at their resort home near Cascade for many years.
He was a member of the Congregational Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, San Rafael; a son, Gary, Portland; a daughter, Kathy Lindner, Sparks, Nev., three brothers, James, L. William and Jack, all of Salt Lake City, and two grandchildren.
