A. Offenbacker
Stanley - Arthur M. Offenbacker, 73, of Rt. 2, Stanley died Sunday morning at the Page Memorial Hosital where he had been a patient four weeks. He had been in failing health several years.
Mr. Offenbacker was born in Page County Feb. 2, 1901 and was a son of the late Charles and Nancy Thomas Offenbacker.
He was a farmer.
On Oct. 30, 1924 he married Dollie H. Breeden, who died July 29, 1972.
Suriving are a daughter, Mrs. Freda P. Thomas of Stanley; a brother, Mark Offenbacker of Stanley; three sisters, Miss Bertie Offenbacker of Stanley, Mrs. Laura Weakley of Silver Spring, Md. and Mrs. Blanche Thomas of Luray; a grandchild, and two great-grandchidren.
Private graveside rites will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Max Fisher at the Breeden family cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. today at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
