Graveside services are 11 a.m. Thursday, April 8, at Chaves Cemetery on the farm she loved south of Ozark. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Patricia "Trish" Ann Craig Steele, 49, Hermitage, was born Aug. 19, 1960, in Springfield, to Clarence Clinton and Martha Elnora Craig. She died April 4, 2010, at Cox Hospital, Springfield, where she fought a brave battle against cancer. She graduated from Ozark High School in 1978 and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church, Ozark. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Craig; and her grandparents: Sam and Alta Chaves. Survivors include her mother, Martha Craig, Ozark; there brothers: Dennis and wife, Marsha Roussell, Nick and wife, Linda Roussell, and Dale and wife, Freda Roussell, all of Ozark; her nieces and nephews: Samantha, Jeff, Nikki, Phillip, Paula, Michael, Angie, Tim, Matt, Titus and Phil, and their families; 19 great-nieces and nephews, and two more on the way; aunts and uncles; many cousins, including Shelia, who was her sister at heart; and Darrell, who was her buddy. She will be missed by her family and many friends, but they have peace knowing her suffering and pain has ended.
