GALESBURG - Delores Henry, 78, of 1075 Paradise Acres, Galesburg, died at 1:10 a.m. on Monday, April 05, 2010, at her daughter's home in Groveland.
Delores was born on July 14, 1931, in Galesburg, the daughter of Floyd and Vera Adams Brittingham. She married Lewis Henry on Nov. 26, 1950, in Yates City. He preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 2002.
Surviving Delores are her daughter, Marci (Rick) Hogan of Groveland; a brother, David (Karen) Brittingham of Galesburg; a sister, Vivian (Bob) Cooley of Galesburg; and a granddaughter, Alexis Hogan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; and a brother, Gene Brittingham.
Delores was president of Gale Credit Union in Galesburg for 40 years, retiring in 1993.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Delores enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Alexis, and her nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Watson Funeral Home in Galesburg.
Memorials may be made to Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center in Galesburg.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Funeral Home in Galesburg.
