Married: 1)Sarena Arabelle Lee,(1861-1901) on 4 Aug. 1878, in Barry Co. MO. She was the dau. of Marion Newton Lee and Bethena Gertrude Thompson.

Wm. and Serena YANDELL, were listed on the 1880 census of Stephens Co. TX with their first child, just a month old.

Children include: 1)Lockie Alice Yandell b.1880; 2)Thomas Jefferson, b.1882; 3)Iona Florence, b 1885; 4)Harvey Jackson b.1888; 5)James Monroe"Johnny"Yandell b. 1890; 6)Ida Belle Y.
