Mrs. Lockie Alice Cockrell, 80, suffered a heart attack at her home in Caddo and had been in ill health for 15 months.

She married L.R. Cockerell in 1899. The couple lived on Caddo Road except for 16 years, 1920-1936 when they lived in Graham. Mrs. Cockerell was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Rebekah Lodge.

Survived by her husband; four sons - Rev. A.A., A.L., J.A. and Rayford Cockerell; two brothers - Tom and Selmer; one half-brohter - Fred; three sisters - Mrs. Ida Bell Walker, Mrs. Joe Willie Montgomery, Mrs. Beulah Henry; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
