Services for Ray Goodwin, 25 of Wells were conducted Monday at the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clayton McClendon officiating and burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Goodwin died Saturday afternoon after an automobile accident near Wells. He was born Oct. 1, 1950 in Lufkin and resided in Wells all of his life.
He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors: Sarah of Wells, daughter, Rochelle of Wells, son, Marty of Wells, mother and step-father, Nell and Robert Grubbs of Wells, sister, Brenda Choate of Vidor, grandmothers: Mrs. Ottie Goodwin of Wells, Mrs. Florence Miles of Wells, several aunts and uncles.
