She married William Thompson Grisham there Oct. 28, 1882. They moved to Arkansas City, Cowley Co, Kansas about 1909.
She joined the First Baptist Church when she was sixteen years old, and moved her membership to Arkansas city in 1922. She was an earnest worker in church activities and a sincere Christian.
She was a devoted wife and mother, a genuine friend, and true blue in every instance.
She and her husband had five children. The firstborn was a son who died at birth. The other children were Ramy Wayne, b.19 Sep 1989, Almer Olive, b. 15 Oct 1891, Lora Christina, b. 17 Nov 1893, Gladys, b. 27 July 1897. Survivors included her husband, four children, her mother, two brothers & three sisters.
