Elmer Levy Eiland of Waxahachie passed away peacefully Mar 22, 2010.He was born in the Gay Hill Community near Rockdale,TX to Calvin Levy Eiland and Freida Annie Henke Eiland on Apr 13,1917. Elmer married his sweetheart Olga Rose Kamenicky on Mar 23,1946. Elmer is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Thelmer Staffelbach, Elbert Eiland, Margaret Lee Gifford, Lona Whiteley and Calvin Eiland Jr. His survivors are his wife of 64 years, Olga, children David Eiland of Bristol, Diane Eiland and Debra Eiland Turner and her husband Wayne of Waxahachie, and sisters Euteva Talley of Rockdale and Lois Wilkins of Hearne. Interment will follow at the Bristol Cemetery.
