Alexander rites scheduled today. Services for Annie Alexander, 89, will be Thursday (today) June 9, at 2 p.m. in Rains-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Glen Willingham officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Rains-Seale Funeral Home. Ms. Alexander died June 7 at 7:40 a.m. in Ballinger Nursing Center. She was born July 12, 1893 in Wise Co. to Nathan and Almedia (Cox) Gann. She was a housewife and a member of Grace Baptist . She married James E. Alexander April 8, 1952 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death January 12, 1966. Surviving Ms. Alexander are two daughters, Millie Brown and Aliene Chapin, both of Ballinger; one son, Buck M. Sanders of Ballinger; one brother, Aurther Gann of Wichita Falls; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and eight great great, grandchildren. The family will act as pall bearers.
