RUSHVILLE — Adrienne Mauzy, 92, of Rush County, passed away March 31, 2010 in Rushville.
Born April 6, 1917 in Marion, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Glada (Rose) Faulkner, both deceased. She married Glen W. Mauzy Dec. 11, 1937; he preceded her in death Feb. 24, 1988.
Mrs. Mauzy worked as a teller at First Federal Savings and Loan during the 1950s. She was very active in ladies bowling in
Rushville, even into her 80s, and also active in the Rushville Elks Club. She was a 1935 graduate of Connersville High School.
Survivors include sons, Joseph (Kathy) Mauzy of Sutter Creek, Calif., Stephen (Gena) Mauzy of Merced, Calif. and Jeffrey (Jean)
Mauzy of Manilla; daughters, Jacqueline (John R. ) Moster of Columbus and Anne (Dr. Thomas) Garrott of Ocean Springs, Miss.;
sister, Martha (John) Riecke of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Donald, and Paul Faulkner and Richard Thompson.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at East Hill Cemetery with Patrick Smith officiating. There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flatrock Christian Church or The Bird Aviary Fund at Millers Merry Manor.
