DORIS IRENE BAKER
Doris Irene Baker, 11–year–old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Baker, Biglerville, died last night at 10:50 o'clock in the Annie M. Warner hospital, Gettysburg. Death was due to multiple cerebral emboli following an operation for appendicitis. The deceased was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday night and underwent an operation on Thursday. The child was a pupil in the sixth grade at the Biglerville public school and was a member of the Junior Girls' class of St. Paul's Lutheran Sunday school, Biglerville. Surviving are the parents, a sister, Helen E., at home; four brothers, Charles E., near Biglerville; Leo F., a student at Pennsylvania State college, and Roy S. and Fred Baker, at home. The funeral will be held on Monday with services at 2 o'clock in St. Paul's Lutheran church, Biglerville. The Rev. H. W. Sternat, pastor, will officiate. Friends may call at the home on Sunday afternoon and evening.
