Andrew Tone was a Revolutionary soldier. He enlisted 12 Feb 1776 as a private in Peter Dickerson's Co., 3rd Battalion, New Jersey Continental Line. He was stationed at Ticonderoga the winter of 1776-77. He reenlisted 8 Jan 1777 in Maxwell's Brigade. He fought in the battles of Brandywine and Germantown. He wintered in Valley Forge 1777-1778.
