After an illness of several weeks with heart trouble, Mrs. Ellen Jeanes, nee Brotherton, an aunt of Z.T. Hutchinson, died at her home north of Drewersburg on Monday, October 15. The funeral services were held on Thursday. Interment in the Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Jeanes was born in Yorkshire, England, came to America in 1832, living in Cincinnati two years, and then moved to White Water Township, where she has resided ever since.
