Judy Caldwell

Mrs. Judy Caldwell, age 89, of Winona, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010, in The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler.

Mrs. Caldwell was born April 19, 1920, in Trinity County, and had lived in Winona for the past five years. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church in Winona.

Survivors include daughter, Rose Friday of Tyler; grandson, Fletcher Friday and wife Laura of Friday; great-grandchildren, Brittany Friday of Friday and Donald Eugene Friday of Friday; sister, Jane Boney and husband Buddy of Woodville; brother, Don Williamson of Riverside; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Caldwell, in 2000; son-in-law, Don Friday in 1988; sisters, Lois and Eilene; and brothers, Odell, O'Neal, John and Shine.

Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Caldwell will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 10 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tony Watson and the Rev. Lewis Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity.

Family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 189, Winona, 75792.

Arrangements are with Callaway-Allee Funeral Home, 700 E. Houston Ave., Crockett, 75835, 936-544-2244.
