Frank Neil Atkins, 70, of Cave Springs, Ark., died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Ark. He was born July 2, 1938, to Frank J. Atkins and Hazel Ruth Simpson Atkins.
He was a 1956 graduate of Bentonville High School and attended business college. He was a delivery driver for College Club Dairy and later for Springdale Tractor and spent time in the Arkansas National Guard. He was a Christian.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Atkins and Jimmy Atkins.
Survivors include his wife, Bonita "Von" Cantrell Atkins; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin Lensing and Glen Lensing of Scranton, Ark.; a stepson, David Parret and his wife Nancy of Prairie Grove, Ark.; two stepdaughters, April Okoroafer and her husband Hamilton Okoroafer of Fayetteville, Ark., and Georgette Suggs and Troy Suggs of Knoxville, Tenn.; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack Atkins and Charlotte Atkins of Gentry, Ark.; two grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers. Ark.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, at the Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be at the Rogers Cemetery.
