Daniel Webster Purvis, age 90, of Chickasaw, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Daniel was born October 3, 1927 in Coffeeville, Alabama to Ludie Hare Smith and Nathaniel purvis.
Daniel is survived by three children, Charlotte (Ricky) Findley, Dale (Glenda) Purvis, and Duane Purvis; seven grandchildren, Damian Purvis, Holly Purvis, Sherry Mayo, Lynn Ryals, David Findley, Rick Findley, and Danny Findley; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Purvis; father, Nathaniel Purvis; and mother, Ludie Hare Smith.
A visitation for Daniel will be held Friday, March 30, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A funeral service will occur Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Rd, Saraland, Alabama 36571.
