The funeral took place Thursday afternoon from her late residence, proceeding to Our Lady of Victories church, and thence to Pascagoula Cemetery Interment. Father B. O'Reilly officiated at the services both at the church and cemetery.
Mrs. Grant was a native of Pascagoula, being the daughter of H.M. Krebs, a pioneer merchant of this city, and a lineal descendant of Francisco Krebs, who in 1720 married the daughter of Col. Dupont, the first settler of Pascagoula. Besides her husband she leaves four children, Mrs. B.J. Larsen, and Misses Lucy and Adelle Grant of this city, and Harry Grant of New Mexico. Also two sisters, Mrs. Alice Sarazin of New Orleans and Miss Adelle Grant of this city.
