Ralph Bowers, 78 years, of Graysville, died Monday, October 30, 1961, in the home of a son, Harold, of Graysville. He had been ill three months. Mr. Bowers was a son of John and Anna Bowers, and was born October 23, 1883, at Rock Lick, W. Va. He was united in marriage with Grace Pearl Parson on April 18, 1909. Her death occurred June 8, 1942. Mr. Bowers, who resided in Graysville most of his life, was a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Department of Highways. Surviving are seven daughters, Wilma, wife of Dayle Keirn of Kittaning; Miss Anna Bowers of Waynesburg; Louise, wife of Jack Tharp of Graysville; Freda, wife of Clyde Tennant of Brownsville; Miss Irma Bowers of West Finley; and Georgia, wife of Earl Lewis of Rutan; three sons, Edward of Sycamore; Harold of Graysville, and John of Pittsburgh; 33 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Goldie Rayle of Ohio, and one brother, Herman of Rock Lick, W. Va. Three sisters and two brothers are deceased.
