LEBANON - Lloyd D. Hower, 85, of Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Myerstown, died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was founder of the former Hower Sanitation and a member of Myerstown United Church of Christ, Mount Olivet Lodge F&AM 704, and Goodwill and Keystone Fire companies, Myerstown. He was the widower of Mildred Fisher Hower and Erma Brightbill Hower. Surviving are two sons, Guy L. and Neal R., both of Myerstown; two sisters, Josephine Bashore of Myerstown and Arlene Wengert of Lebanon; two grandchildren; four grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Christman's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kimmerlings Cemetery. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
