A.F. Blackie Lasater, 76, died Thursday in a Midland Hospital.

A Borger resident for 32 years, Mr. Lasater moved to Midland in 1960. He was retired from Phillips Petroleum Co.

Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery by Tony Gonzales, pastor of the Spearman Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be by Alexander Funeral Home.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha; one son, James of the home; one daughter, LaRue of the home; four brothers, Troy and Harry, both of Odessa, Charles of Houston and Dick of Wichita, Kans.; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Perrier of Tulsa, Okla. and Mrs. Jennie Braden of Borger.
