Delphia married Samuel S. Bashor in Flag Springs, Andrew Co., Missouri on 5 Mar 1871. In about 1875, with their two small sons, James (b. 1872) and Nathaniel (b. 1875), they left Missouri in a covered wagon, and headed to Colorado.
They had six more children; Myrtle (b. 1878), Arthur (b. 1880), Wallace (b. 1883), Claude (b. 1885), Beulah (b. 1888), Carl (b. 1891).
Delphia and Samuel owned and operated "The Walnut Grove". It had originally been for people suffering from Tuberculosis.
Delphia and Samuel had eight children, the oldest child , James, died at the age of six, and the youngest died, Carl, at the age of three months.
Delphia's husband Samuel died in 1930 in Longmont, Colorado.
Note: The 60th Anniversary celebration was actually held one year early. Samuel died before their 60th anniversary.
