FIREMAN PASSES

Fred Henry Haas Dies in Hospital Here

Fred Henry Haas, 58, stationary fireman for the Bareco refinery died this morning in a local hospital. He resided at 2348 Wellington Place.

He was born January 12, 1884, and came to Wichita from Durham, Kan., 28 years ago. he was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Anna; five daughters, Doris, Dorothy and Betty, at home; Mrs. Roy Rowley, 2312 Wellington Place; and Mars. Thomas Threlfall, 1728 North Emporia; eight sons, Herman, 1840 Park Place; Eddie, 641 North Chautuaqua; Dale, United States navy; LeRoy, Donald, Bobbie, Billie and Kenneth, all at home; one sister, Mrs. Charles Schlotthauer, Wellington; four brothers, Lewis, Lee and Herman, Durham, Kan., and C. C., West Palm Beach, Fla.

Funeral services will be announce by the Downing mortuary. Burial will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
