She was the daughter of the late Filmore H. and Sarah Mason Canby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer, Filmore, Jr., and James Canby.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth P. Jacobs, at home and is also survived by a daughter, Janice K. Jacobs Brody, two grandchildren, Terry K. Lushbaugh and Kristi K. Monforte, three great-grandchildren, Hartley and Hayden Lushbaugh and Isabella Rose Monforte, three brothers, Melvin, Bruce and Paul Canby and two sisters, Hester Manning and Helen Mahoney, all of Martinsburg.
She was retired from Jefferson Mills and was a lifelong member of Bethel Assembly of God Church where she sand in the church choir and served faithfully on the kitchen committee. She was devoted to her faith and family.
