Daughter of Edmund Wilson and Amy Anna (Westfall) Chase.

1920 census she is living in Colorado, where her family had moved when she was a baby. She is living near her sister and is listed Hazel Compton, a widow with son Joe age 10.

I have found per a newspaper write up in Nebraska, when she was home visiting her parents in 1915, that her husbands name was L D Compton. Since finding this have found it is Lloyd D. Compton born 1872 died 1912.

Many family trees has her as been married or had a child by Isaac Ralph Compton in Springfield, Greene, Missouri with a son William Joseph "Joe" Compton born in 1921, yet he is still with his wife who he married in 1907. I'd say that information is wrong, to say the least.
Sadly, I never asked my mother-in-law, who I got the wedding photo from, about what she knew of Hazel's history, before she herself passed.

From the photo, Hazel was united in marriage with Harry Owen Griffin in the late 1920's or early 1930's. No known children to this union.

Note: Have found her son Joe named his son after his father. Though the son went by Dan. Dan is in this cemetery along with his parents.
