She married Edgar Sherman Anderson 21 May 1900 at Winterset, Guernsey County, Ohio and in that same year came to Harrington. He had visited relatives there in 1898 and liked the area. They arrived in June 1900.
He farmed for a time but soon moved to town and resumed his trade, that of a contractor and carpenter. About 1940 they moved to Davenport and opened a tourist cabin court at the west entrance to the city.
She died from a heart attack.
