Funeral service for Pearl A. McNeal was held January 3 at Ball and Dodd-West Funeral Home in Spokane, with burial at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Officiating was the Rev. Sandy Brockway of Westminster Presbyterian Church where Mrs. McNeal was a member. She was also a member of the Imperial Rebecca Lodge NO. 58 and this group of women participated in the service.

She was born in Harrington August 2, 1908, and attended school there. She married Perry McNeal and they lived in Davenport, where son Edgar attended school and graduated. Mrs. McNeal was active in the Davenport United Methodist Church and played piano for the adult Sunday school class.

Mrs. McNeal later lived and worked in Spokane for many years, where she shared her musical talent with senior citizens and nursing homes.

She was preceded in death by son Edgar McNeal in 1991.

She is survived by daughter-in-law Evelyn McNeal of Gig Harbor, three granddaughters, Kim Meline of Tacoma, Kerry Morrison of Gig Harbor and Kelly McNeal of Olympia; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. John Anderson of Wilbur and several nieces and nephews.
