Funeral services for Patsy Marie Bunton "Lawson," age 88, of Emory, will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel. Visitation will be held one-hour prior to the service.
Patsy was born July 26, 1934, to Walter and Cummie Rohus in Fruitvale, Texas. She was married to Jesse Lawson for 45 years before he passed. Patsy then married Aldeen Bunton and enjoyed 5 years of marriage before he passed. Patsy was most happy at home, reading. She was also considered a hard worker and a loving person. Her family was everything to her, and she will be greatly missed by them.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Byrd; son, Stephen Lawson; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Lawson; granddaughters, Tabitha Lopez and Drew, Michelle Franke and Michael; step granddaughter, Ammie Worth and Sam; grandsons, Michael Byrd and Ami, Patrick Lawson and Vanessa; step grandson, Michael Stringfellow and Raquell; brother, Jimmy Rohus and Charlene; great-grandsons, DJ, Colt, Ian, Noah, Mark; great-granddaughters, Abigail, Avery, Andi, Mikaela and many nieces, nephews and friends that loved her.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jesse Lawson, husband, Aldeen Bunton; son Randy Lawson; brother, Jackie Rohus, Cullen Rohus; sister, Betty Boon, Dorothy West and son-in-law Fred Byrd.
