Mrs. Mae A. Beegle, widow of Daniel Murray Beagle, died Saturday, January 28, 1956, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mervin Close, Westminster. She was a daughter of the late Harvey and Arbannah Rollins Shaffer, Friends Cove, Pa. Surviving are a son, Glen R. Beegle, Baltimore; three daughters, Mrs. Close, Mrs. Fannie Ibex and Mrs. Melvin Hopkins, Westminster; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a half-brother, John S. Shaffer, Cambridge, Ohio; a half-sister, Mrs. Lena Koontz, Friends Cove, Pa. Funeral services were held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Bankard funeral home, Westminster. The Rev. Dr. Elwood S. Falkenstein officiated. Burial was in Friends Cove, Bedford County, Pa.
