Frank's Obituary reads:
GOODBYE MR. "B"
We have lost a good man. Those of us fortunate enough to have known him well, lost a loyal and trusted friend, early Monday morning March 6, 1972, when Frank Billups went to his final reward.
A kind and gentle man, those whose lives he touched were richer for having known him. For many of us, our homes are living memorials to the deft skills and painstaking throughness of this man who took pride in the quality of his craftsmanship . His versatility and knowledge of many skills constantly amazed those who sought his help on tasks beyond their abilities, though his formal education had been limited by the hardship of his youth. Mr."B" was a storehouse of practical knowledge unobtainable in the school of experience. He loved life and he loved his family. A good neighbor, his weakness if he had one, was his inability to refuse those in need of his services.

His formal Obit reads:
Frank Billups, 67 a well known farmer of this community, died March 6 in the Marion County Hospital.
He was born in Jay Oklahoma Dec. 10, 1904, the son of Mr and Mrs J. Billups. He had lived in Marion County 25 years. Prior to that he lived in Glendale Ore. His wife, Nova Billups, preceded him in death in Aug 1967. Survivors are four sons, Homer Billups of Medford, Ore., Charles of Kansas City, Kansas, Kenneth of Blue Springs, Mo., and Robert of Louisville Ky. Two brothers and one sister also survive, Jess Billups of California, Ted Billups of Medford, Ore., and Mamie McWhiter of Cloverdale Ca., and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today(Thursday) in the Yellville Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Hestwood officiating. Burial was in the Yellville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Herman Fuller, Olen Hefton, Steve Jones, Marvin Cole, Claude Wade and Jim Milligan.
