He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Louise Alvey and two brothers, Gary and Norman Alvey. John is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judy P. Alvey; daughter, Tamara Alvey (Brian Thomas) of Evansville; son, John Alvey, Jr. (Brandi) of Kileen, TX; sister, Janice Pierce (Gilbert) of Evansville; grandchildren, Savannah Becker, Trevor Alvey, Paytyn Alvey, and Garret Muensterman; and several nieces.
